Stefan's Owl from Oblivion Book Series Project Summary (Book #1 -- Book #3):

Literary Fiction showcasing Post Modernism.

This sprawling narrative follows a group of
genetically engineered children who possess god-like telepathic and energetic powers inherited from the Sun Gods and Sophistans. Characters like Stefan and Tova struggle to reconcile their immense, often lethal, capabilities with the fragile reality of their human upbringings. While international intelligence agencies and military forces attempt to weaponize these youths, the children navigate a shifting landscape of alternate timelines and ancient ancestral memories. The text highlights a profound moral conflict between the cold, deterministic logic of alien hive minds and the messy, empathetic nature of human emotion. Ultimately, these "Children of Sophista" represent a new stage of evolution destined to inherit an Earth caught in the crossfire of cosmic agendas. Through shared mental constructs, the protagonists attempt to build a stable future while fleeing the trauma of their own institutional exploitation.

What Is "Stefan's Owl from Oblivion" About?"

Book #1

Book #1:  Stefan's Owl from Oblivion

The randomness of the universe rarely grants humanity a wondrous child. Those few exceptional beings who rise to the sheer poetry of intellect are typically doomed to suffer, their brilliance attracting inevitable exploitation or eradication.

In Cambridge, UK, eight-year-old Ty Docherty, a musical prodigy with a terrifying, concealed heritage, struggles to maintain his sanity. He is haunted by memories of a serene Supernatural Timeline where genius is adored. But in his Reality Timeline, he is merely a strategic asset, a pawn of secret government agents (ERID) who, despite the profound love of his ex-assassin father, see him as an invaluable specimen to be studied, dissected, or deployed as a weapon.

Simultaneously, seven-year-old Stefan Olsson, driven by trauma and loneliness following his father's agonizing death, develops a dangerous gift: he can involuntarily force those closest to him into an elaborate shared delusion—a dream that, in its startling detail, feels utterly real. Stefan seeks to recreate the familial love and certainty stolen by the randomness of life, setting his immense psychological power against the terrifying chaos of his world.

When Stefan pulls Ty and their intellectually gifted circle deep into his meticulously crafted alternate reality, the fragile psychological boundaries of their existence begin to dissolve. As the threads of their true, alien-human identities are revealed—including the unimaginable power held dormant within Tova, a child engineered to embody the Sun Gods—each child must confront the terrifying question: In a world built on calculated cruelty and political deceit, is madness the only path to finding true purpose and belonging?

"The existence of these children is an existential puzzle, one that keeps everyone enslaved in fascination, like the reader of a never-ending suspense novel".

Book #2: "Who is Tova?"

Literary Fiction, Post Modernism.

Eleven-year-old Tova Sergersen is a happy surprise of the randomness, a genetic anomaly housing the consciousness of a dead Sun God within the fragile vessel of a Manhattan prodigy. Her preteen body possesses the power to incinerate armies, yet she remains trapped in the gilded cage of her father’s protective tradecraft, living an elite life laid out by a destiny she did not choose.

To the US Air Force, she is a “red dot” on a map representing a nuclear threat to be managed; to the Sun God hives, she is a biological interface for ancient data; to herself, she is a child desperately trying to keep the monster in her soul at bay. But when a Russian hit squad shatters the illusion of her safety on a camping trip to a remote New Mexico mesa, the ruthless conqueror emerges. Tova must confront the terrifying reality of her mental duality: that her innocence is merely camouflage—the vulnerability of her emotional humanity.

As she navigates the benign fascism of adults who seek to edit her mind and the cold logic of an alien ancestry that views humans as “mutated monkeys,” Tova faces a singular, devastating question: Can she save the imprisoned children of her lineage without becoming the very instrument of destruction her humanity fears?

“The tip of the sword always cuts.”

Book #3: The Washing of the Soul
In the architecture of a broken mind, memory is not a record of the past, but a weapon for the future.

Stefan Olsson is seven years old, or perhaps he is fourteen. To survive the silence of a murdered father and the crushing nihilism of a mother who views him as a genetic failure, Stefan retreats into the "Supernatural Timeline." Here, amidst the debris of his trauma, he constructs a reality where he is not a frightened, autistic child, but an entity capable of rewriting the laws of existence.

But the sanctuary of the dream is becoming a prison. As Stefan pulls his friends into his delusion, the boundaries of identity begin to fray. In the shadow of the Italian Renaissance, the immortal Paul25 walks a dusty road with a woodcarver named Geppetto and a boy named Atreyeu, reliving a tragedy that serves as the blueprint for Stefan’s soul. It is a meditation on the bondage of one-sided endearment and the terrible cost of love.

Meanwhile, reality demands its due. Tabitha, a child prophetess from the frozen north, pierces the veil of Stefan’s isolation to confront his mother, Anashivalia. She brings a terrifying revelation that reframes the boy’s suffering not as mental illness, but as the turbulent birth of a singularity—a King who must either ascend or be consumed by his own creation.

You are invited to witness The Washing of the Soul. But be warned: when the lines between madness and divinity blur, you must decide if the dream is a lie, or if reality is simply the nightmare we have agreed to believe.

Literary Fiction for Preteens, Teens, and Discerning Adults

Stefan's Owl from Oblivion is a work of Literary Fiction  and is targeted toward ages 10 years old through adult. Literary Fiction makes you feel what the characters feel in a very personal and intimate way. If the sad parts make you cry out loud, then it has accomplished one of its goals by touching you very deeply. The text is transcendent, seeking to understand the very nature of life, the innate nature of humanity itself. It does this not by pontificating on these topics but by showing you via the lives of these enhanced children. They are very thoughtful and caring children, and contrast strongly against a world of vicious, power hungry adults.

Where the two worlds touch as well as where the intermingling of goals and needs of other invading or immigrating alien life-forms affect humanity, truths about humanity are revealed as well as the common threads that must run through all sorts of life, even life not based on carbon. The book touches on psychology, magic, science fiction, and fantasy as well as touching on Mayan, Hindu, Norse, and Greek mysticism/mythology.

Stefan's Owl from Oblivion is expected to be a 800,000 word epic book series, split into eight 10"x13" large form factor hardcovers, lavishly illustrated throughout and printed on heavy paper with a heavy gold and blue foil imprinted cover done in the style of an old fairy-tale book. The books of this epic will be sold individually or as a set. The quality will be such that it will endure being handed down for many generations.

The writing contains strong emotional content as well as numerous philosophical musings by children trying to understand the world in which they now live. The story is designed for the thoughtful, sensitive child and philosophical adult. As such is not an action-oriented romp. Adults will enjoy remembering the time in their life when they, too, innocently dreamed about the wonderful ways the world could be... a time when every day was an adventure. And yet will your present day adventures  bring you face to face with a lovely, kind child, wanting to be loved by all... a child who looks human but is a mix of human and extraterrestrial traits... a child that will be immortal and never change in apparent developmental age. Will your love help them and their brethren conquer the Earth?!
